I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their own good and the good of their children after them.

We get the definition of One Heart One Mind from Philippians 2

“by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus”

Philippians 2:2b-5 ESV

To see more on being One Heart and One Mind with the Father read Jeremiah 31:31-40, Jeremiah 32:37-41, Ezekiel 11:17-21, Zephaniah 3:9-13, John 5:19-20, John 14:7, 10-14, Acts 4:32-35, and Hebrews 8:8-12, which quotes Jeremiah 31.

Our Purpose

We have no desire to give human opinions, our only desire is to shine a light on the Scriptures and tie them together. Our greatest desire is to see Christ’s body learn to grow up into maturity.

We desire to promote spiritual growth in the body of Christ by going through Scriptures to learn how to be One Heart and One Mind with our Father. Our desire is to see everyone built up in the body so that each member functions in the position God has called them into and that none of us are lacking in anything.

14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? 18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. 19 If all were a single member, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, yet one body. 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, 24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it,25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. 26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. 27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. 28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the higher gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.

1 Corinthians 12:14-31 ESV

We are striving to compile Scriptures together so we can all see the big picture God is trying to show us. We have no desire to give our opinions. We strive to base our lives off of God’s opinion. We are constantly digging through Scripture to understand the Word of God. We desire to share Scripture and our testimonies with others so that we are a blessing to His body.

Ephesians tells us that we are to grow into mature manhood and no longer be children tossed to and fro by the waves of doctrine.

1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift.8 Therefore it says,

“When he ascended on high he led a host of captives,
and he gave gifts to men.”

9 (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? 10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Ephesians 4:1-16 ESV

We pray that in doing this we love well and equip others to fulfill the law of love in their lives. Our hearts’ desire is to fulfill 1 John 4: 11-13 and to please our Heavenly Father.

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.” 1 John 4: 11-13 ESV
